Seabrook Crisps and Aunt Bessie’s

We recently worked with two Yorkshire brand icons, Seabrook Crisps and Aunt Bessie’s, to help launch a line of delicious, ‘quintessentially British’ Sunday roast dinner flavoured limited-edition crisps: Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding; Roast Turkey & Stuffing; and Roast Potato & Black Pepper.

Aunt Bessie’s partnership with Seabrook Crisps comes after the crisps maker struggled to meet ‘unprecedented demand’ for its products at the end of 2022, amid weeks of shortages of Walker's lines.

'Crisp lovers were looking for something new and different to tempt their tastebuds.'

Claire Hooper, Calbee Group UK Marketing Director

Solution: We were approached by Calbee (who acquired Seabrook Crisps in 2018) to help with the branding and packet design, having previously worked with them on the packaging for their plant-based Harvest Snaps range.

Following the strict brand colour palette guidelines, we worked with Calbee marketing to produce three distinct colourways and striking designs to give the innovative flavours standout, ensuring delivery met the tight deadlines ready for the November launch.

Deliverables: Branding | Packaging design across multiple flavours.
Outcome
: The limited edition range was initially rolled out into B&M and Home Bargains in 120g sharing bags (rsp: £1.25) and has been well received, in what has been called possibly the ‘most Yorkshire brand collaboration in history’.
